Alan's artistic journey began with a passion for fantasy illustration inspired by Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo, leading to his career launch in 1991 with his first cover illustration for T.S.R. Inc.'s Dungeon magazine after training at prestigious New York City institutions. Throughout his career, he has produced iconic artwork for Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Blizzard Entertainment, and Sorcery: Contested Realm, earning recognition as a Hugo Award nominee for Best Professional Artist in 2015.
